As you know, the weather in the area is getting warmer, and we are leaving our pets outside to take in the fresh air and get exercise. Let’s be cognizant of the heat, as our pets can get overheated when the temperature gets in the upper 90’s and into the 100’s. If you decide to leave them outdoors, please refresh their water often, and simply let them back inside if it gets too hot. I know when my dog is too hot, because he will find a cool spot in the shrubs. It’s good to even have a small pool outside for them, if you don’t have an in-ground pool already. Many of our clients often see their dogs swimming in their pool to cool off. Our dog likes to get in the pool and lake, as he is a Labrador and loves water.
